Was a theme meeting on Vocal Variety. Toastmasters Cathy Young and Amanda Durkee gave their Sixth Speech from the Competent Communicator manual, having finished over half of the speeches for their CC award--Way to go Cathy and Amanda!
Toastmaster for the evening, Carole Wiedmeyer, presented additional information on vocal variety as well as some vocal variety exercises. Be warned, latecomers, if you show up after the meeting has started, you may find yourself having a conversation using the words "Ham Sandwich".
Janynie Sheaf gave us an engaging Table Topics on television that allowed us to work on our Vocal Variety and find out about the taping of Episode 2 of cable access show, "Judge Mental". (Filming from 1-5pm on Halloween at 2766 NE M L King Blvd).
Kyle Dukelow again served multiple roles, as General Evaluator and Timer, with Julia Demorest evaluating Cathy and Steve Yousten evaluating Amanda.
